The programme is conducted in collaboration with the EAPC (European Association for Palliative Care)

These institutions have worked together to enhance the leadership course of the European Palliative Care Academy, which has been a successfull typo and renowned further education course running since 2013, drawing on their years of commitment and experience as leaders in palliative care across Europe.

As a result, they developed an innvoative and outstanding curriculum for the new

International Master of Leadership in Palliative Care.

The new Master’s programme is offered to aspiring leaders in palliative care, regardless of their professional background and country of origin.

Each partner institution conducts a personal teaching week so that students get to know each other and the faculty personally and benefit from the condensed teaching of the programme’s contents. The course language is English. In addition to the teaching weeks, students will do one week of observation in a palliative care institution of their choice.

Together with continuous pre-modular assignments, follow-up assessments and a personal Project, the Master Programme comprises 1800 hours and has to be completed within two years. It is a part-time study programme, thus enabling students to continue working.

The Master Programme 2023-25 starts in April 2023 and runs until March 2025. Please check this page regularly to stay up to date with the application deadlines.
